EL YUCATECO ACHIOTE PASTE 100 GR

Achiote paste is a fundamental ingredient in the cuisine of southeastern Mexico, especially in the Yucatán Peninsula.  Achiote is used to cook emblematic dishes of the Mayan region, such as cochinita pibil and its variants (with chicken or fish). This ingredient can also be used to prepare marinades, such as those for tacos al pastor, a specialty that in 2019 was awarded the title of "best dish in the world."
